A Senior C# Engineer is required for a Renewable Energy Trading company that’s leading the charge in sustainable energy production, optimisation, and trading technology. With the UK committing over £24Bn to Renewable Energy, this is an opportunity to play a key part in the sector driving the UK’s energy transition.
Our client is a fast-growing disruptor in the Energy Trading market, building cutting-edge trading systems that enable the efficient trading of renewable assets and power. As traditional fossil fuels are phased out, this company is pushing the boundaries of technology to accelerate the shift to clean energy.
💰 £600–700 per day | OUTside IR35
📑 6-month rolling contract
📍 Hybrid – 2-3 days per week, London
⚡Senior C# Engineer - Energy Trading experience required
As a Senior C# Engineer, you’ll be working on the design and build of real-time trading and analytics platforms, leveraging microservices architecture and Azure cloud technologies to deliver highly scalable, performant, and resilient systems.
You’ll collaborate closely with traders, data engineers, and DevOps specialists to deliver event-driven solutions that power trading decisions and optimise market operations.
Experience required:
- Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET Core
- Proven experience building microservices-based architectures
- Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud Services (Functions, Service Bus, Event Hub, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Experience with event-driven / message-based systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Service Bus)
- Energy or Commodity Trading domain experience (essential)
- Exposure to low-latency systems or real-time data processing is highly desirable
